Our Story
The company, Dynamic Engine Parts was founded in 2004. We started out as a small retail store in a building with barely 144 m2 of available floor space that was based in Capital Park. We had the humble number of only three employees at the time, our staff consisted of two salesmen on the counter and one driver with a bike for deliveries.
Within three years the business grew substantially and we had to acquire a bigger establishment in 2007. We moved to a bigger shop with 260 sqm2 of floor space that was based in Hercules. At this point of time the number of employees had doubled to six, four salesmen and two bike drivers. The company continued to grow and we could obtain our first delivery vehicle.
Before we knew it the small shop could not manage the everlasting growth of the business and the endless demand in workforce. This led to our most recent relocation to our facility based in Hermanstad in 2016. This building had 860 sqm2 of floor space that we expanded to nearly 1060 sqm2 with the mezzanine floor. The bigger facility came with a fair share of struggles such as our main road being closed for almost three years. We were looking for a way to work around the closure when we were hit with the pandemic. Luckily we were blessed with devoted staff and amazing clientele that helped us to overcome these stumbling blocks and our staff grew to 25 members and 7 delivery vehicles.
We were also blessed to be able to start our own brands and import our own engine components. With this we were able to enter into the world of wholesale. We are excited to see what the future has in store for us.
